Bullying and Cyberbullying

The Carson City School District supports and enforces a Safe and Respectful Learning Environment free from Bullying and Cyberbullying in order to provide a learning environment that is safe and respectful, in which persons of differing beliefs, characteristics, and backgrounds can realize their full academic and personal potential.

The Carson City School District declares that any form of bullying or cyberbullying is prohibited and will not be tolerated.

In addition, the Carson City School District utilizes Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) to support students in making the most of every day by empowering them with the skills, knowledge, values and opportunities to thrive.

How to Report Bullying, Cyberbullying, and Harassment Concerns?

  1. Ensure the concern is truly bullying, cyberbullying, or harassment, by the district's definition. Definitions can be found below.
  2. Please let the teacher or school administrator know your concerns. School contact information can be found below.

    You will be contacted within 24-hours by a school administrator to follow-up. 
    Within 2 days, our response to your concerns will be provided and next steps will be initiated to those involved.
