I want to let you know of my appreciation for all of our staff members and the extraordinary efforts you have accomplished this year. Everyone has adapted his or her assignments this year within the requirements associated with the pandemic and it has required no small effort. Not only has the staff adjusted to the new work expectations, but our work duties were modified multiple times as conditions associated with COVID-19 changed. Your ability to roll with these changes was amazing and required adjustments and modification to an already hectic work schedule. I thank you all for your service.

I am so impressed with the flexibility, creativity, and tenacity with which you all contributed to the effort of teaching and supporting our students in the most unique school year in my memory. Thank you for adjusting your daily duties, for being patient with the changes, for continuing to work together, and for your willingness to stretch and learn new ways of teaching and supporting our students.

I wish you peace and happiness in the final weeks of school. With just a few short weeks left in the school year, I encourage you to finish strong, continue to be patient, and look forward to the physical and mental break that comes with our summer break. We have all learned new techniques and ways of doing school-related tasks. I encourage you to continue to use those techniques that have improved efficiencies as you begin your planning for next year. I am so proud to have you all as colleagues and thank you again for your heroic actions this year.

Sincerely,
Richard
