• Attendance will be emphasized in the classroom and posted each month in the parent newsletter

• Daily phone calls will be made to parents of absent students

80% of our students will be reading at or above grade level by the third grade

• Students who show potential for advancement will be placed on a "hot list" for extra help

• Students missing skills will be tutored
