CMS has many different music programs including...

• Beginning Handbells
• Intermediate Handbells
• Advanced Handbells
• Beginning Band
• Intermediate Band
• Advanced Band
• Percussion
• Beginning Choir
• Advanced Choir

Both handbells and choir are instructed by the newest member of the CMS staff, Mr. Sonnemaker(Right).
The band and percussion are taught by Mr. Blankenship (Left).

A FEW THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING THESE CLASSES

• The cost of the instrument rental for band is $50

• The handbells fee is about $40

• To be in the Adavanced Band Class, you must prove that you can play certain measures and scales in an audition(see Mr. Blankenship)

• To be in the Intermediate Band Class, you must have had at least one year of previous experience

• The Beginning Band Class is open to all students interested in trying band(no experience required)

• To be in the Advanced Handbells class, you need to be pulled up from the beginning class by Mr. Sonnemaker

• To be in the Intermediate Handbells class, you need to be pulled up from beginning class

• Beginning Handbells is open to all students.
