To enhance the professional knowledge and skills of the CCSD teachers regarding effective teaching through training that has a direct correlation with student achievement.
To promote a culture of dialogue that supports personal growth and reflection on one's own practice
To enhance the knowledge of CCSD teachers in Charlotte Danielson's Four Domains for Effective Teaching, the pilot teacher evaluation document.
To provide continued support for newly-hired teachers through the CCSD Mentor Program, cognitive coaching, and training.
