Provide all teaching staff with sufficient theory, knowledge and practical classroom application based on current, researched-based best practices to meet the academic needs of LEP students.
Provide a liaison between parents of LEP students and the school system.
Develop district-wide ESL curriculum based on ESL national and state standards.
Identify students in the LEP subpopulations that need continuing academic and home support to pass proficiency assessments.
Develop a consistent, district-wide record-keeping system that conforms to state and federal reporting standards.
